Not many people even know that coffee can be grown in Nepal. You might think more of colored prayer flags, snow-capped mountains and the breathtaking temples.

Coffee cultivation at the foot of the Himalayas in Nepal is still relatively young. In the past it was more tea that was grown. Today, the outstanding quality of Nepalese premium coffee is valued worldwide. The coffee farmers live at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,300 meters, which is also where most of the coffee is grown.

The crystal-clear springs, the view of the Himalayan massif and the mountain air provide the coffee plants with the important ingredients for a whole  extraordinary organic coffee enjoyment.
